Assembly Operative

We are currently recruiting for a number of assembly operatives for our client. located between Scunthorpe and Doncaster.

Due to the expansion of the business these roles have become available, the roles are offered on a Temp2Perm basis, with the successful candidate getting a contract with the client at the end of the 13 weeks.


The ideal candidate will have previous Coach Building experience or have skills which can be transferred and suitable for the role such as Joinery or Shop fitting experience. If you have previously had experience of performing vehicle strip downs and rebuilding this is the ideal next role for you.


Duties include but not limited to;

 Working on your own and working as part of a team, to deliver the highest stand and quality in the conversion of the vehicles.

 Prepping the vehicles prior to the installation of the new fittings.

 Working from drawings very closely and making sure all aspects are completed to the highest standard, using your own initiative to get on with the conversion.

 Working with a wide ranges of consumable materials, sealants, glues, etc.

 Measuring and prepping the new interior elements for the vehicle and then installing them with a high standard and making sure the quality is to the companies standard.

 Working with a range of hand and power tools.


Previous Experience/Skills:

 Experience working coach-building or car conversions preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

 Previous joinery or fitting experience would be advantageous.

 The candidate must have good attention to detail.

 Must be able to work well under pressure and to work to tight dead lines.


The rate of pay for this role is starting at £9.50ph and the working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 07.30am – 12.30pm.

Due to the location of the site having access to your own transport will be needed, also due to the role being assembling and constructing having your own primary tools would be advantageous although some tools are supplied.
