Office and Marketing Administrator
We are recruiting for an experienced Office and Marketing Administrator for a leading firm of Industrial Auctioneers and Valuers based in Scunthorpe.
This role is a permanent position, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm.
The salary for this role is £18.5k p.a.
The Office and Marketing Administrator will provide administrative support, greet, and direct visitors and answer and respond to calls and emails.
Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanour.
You will be working as part of a small fast-paced administration team, preparing auctions for listing online, preparing marketing and communication materials, promoting the auctions, sales and services.
You will be working closely with the buyers to ensure collections and payments runs smoothly and liaise effectively with clients offering auction support and assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- To complete the preparation and despatch of marketing materials within agreed timescales, as required using a variety of computer packages
- To prepare communications using a range of Social Media to promote auctions, sales and services
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- To prepare auction sales using various Auctioneering systems.
- To monitor and collect payments following sales.
- To co-ordinate collection of goods following auction – both on and offsite.
- To organise and update relevant data using appropriate systems/applications.
- To communicate effectively with customers to enhance the company’s reputation.
- To adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health & safety and quality management.
- To adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- To attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
