About this role

At Ongo, we believe everyone has the potential to be great. This belief motivates us to show up every day and make a difference in our communities.

While we’re known as a landlord providing 11,500 homes, our true focus is on people – supporting tenants, their families and the wider communities in meaningful ways.

The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated team of three passionate individuals who want to make a real difference. You’ll work closely with existing colleagues to share the workload across a variety of projects, each with specific focus areas:

  1. Smoking Cessation Support (22.5 hrs) – Engage with the public and drive outcomes by developing and delivering creative ways to promote smoking cessation. This will include offering one-on-one support for those looking to quit smoking.
  2. Public Health Campaign (22.5 hrs) – Support the public health goal of increasing MMR vaccination coverage to 95%. You’ll help deliver a campaign to encourage the uptake of essential vaccinations such as MMR, HPV, shingles, and flu.
  3. Admin & Reporting (18.5 hrs) – Use your IT and reporting skills to capture surveys, case studies, and pilot project data. You’ll ensure all administrative tasks and publicity requirements are completed in line with contractual obligations. Additionally, you’ll support the wider team in delivering engagement events and focus groups.

What We Offer
We are offering a pro-rata salary of £30,557 to join our friendly, dynamic, and busy team, working either 22.5 or 18.5 hours per week.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in community development, particularly in disadvantaged communities
  • A strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes, objectives, and targets
  • Excellent engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds
  • Strong IT, written, and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for recording and reporting
  • The ability to write clear, concise reports for internal and external audiences
  • An ability to build strong, productive relationships with potential customers
  • Own transport and the ability to travel across North Lincolnshire
  • The physical capability to lift, carry, and transport equipment, set up stands in public places, walking and standing for long periods of time

If you're ready to be part of a team making a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you!
