Class 2 HGV Driver – Scunthorpe

Hours: 45–60 hours per week
The Role
We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team based at our Scunthorpe depot. You will play a key role in waste collection operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of waste from commercial and domestic customers across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
This is a customer-facing role where safety, professionalism, and reliability are essential. While previous experience within the waste management industry is advantageous, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 HGV vehicle in compliance with WTD and Drivers’ Hours regulations
- Collecting waste using various container types, including trade waste, skips, and roll-on/roll-off bins
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring the safe handling and secure transport of waste materials
- Adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Being flexible and multi-skilled, covering different driving duties as operationally required
