Are you a passionate and experienced cleaning professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re working on behalf of a leading facilities management provider to recruit a Contract Cleaning Manager for a high-profile shopping centre in Grimsby.

This is your chance to lead a dynamic team, manage operations in a fast-paced retail environment, and play a key role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards that directly enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of cleaning and waste operatives, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.

  • Manage daily cleaning operations across a busy shopping centre.

  • Uphold and enforce Health & Safety compliance (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).

  • Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring optimal coverage.

  • Conduct training, performance reviews, and recruit new team members as needed.

  • Monitor and report on service standards using Cleanlink Site Manager and Cleaning Portal.

  • Liaise directly with client representatives, building strong, responsive relationships.

  • Maintain equipment and stock levels efficiently and safely.

  • Complete regular audits and inspections, ensuring top-quality service delivery.

  • Provide hands-on support with ad hoc cleaning tasks when needed.

  • Collaborate closely with the Area Manager on all operational aspects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrable experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role.

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning industry standards and Health & Safety legislation.

  • Excellent team leadership, organisational and communication skills.

  • Proficient in using digital management systems (Cleanlink knowledge is a bonus).

  • A proactive problem-solver who leads by example.

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

  • Forklift Licence is an advantage, but not essential.
