I have worked in recruitment for 25 years and still get a thrill from making a placement. There is a real sense of achievement when matching the right company with the right candidate. No day is the same, every day is busy with new challenges and you are always continually learning. Ongo Recruitment give all profits to local community projects so every person and every business we work with is helping to create better lives for local people.

I get a real sense of achievement when matching the right company with the right candidate. I like working with new clients and developing business relationships. It is a very competitive industry so customer service is key.
I enjoy working in recruitment as every day is different. I get to meet lots of interesting people, both clients and employees, and feel satisfaction in placing somebody into a new apprenticeship, it could be me that helped shape their future.
I enjoy working in recruitment as it’s a fast paced environment and every day is different. I enjoy working with people and giving them an opportunity to get back into the work environment. Recruitment can sometimes be challenging, but that’s what I love about it and helping to support vulnerable people in society gives me a real sense of self worth.
I have spent 15 years in recruitment at home and overseas, which has provided me with a breadth of knowledge to equip me with the ability to help workers achieve their chosen career path. I love Ongo’s offering as a champion of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The people here live the vision and are the best bunch of colleagues I have worked with.
Working in recruitment is a fast paced environment and no two days are the same. I work on the personal support assistant desk which is very busy and can sometimes be challenging. It is extremely rewarding knowing we have made a difference every day to vulnerable people in our community by providing support for them.
I like the variety recruitment brings and working across all the desks gives me the opportunity to learn about the full recruitment process. I also look after the translator desk which is very fast moving and challenging.
As a recruitment apprentice, I am inspired by the meaningful connections I build, the positive impact I create to peoples lives, and the continuous growth that comes with each day. The excitement of the recruitment world and the knowledge that my efforts positively influence lives, make me grateful to be a part of this industry.
