Position Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a dedicated engineering team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring machinery runs efficiently, production remains uninterrupted, and all work meets strict safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to machinery breakdowns and prioritise repairs to minimise downtime
  • Carry out safety checks and preventative maintenance at scheduled intervals
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality procedures
  • Log all work accurately on the digital maintenance system (APP)
  • Support stock control through correct storage and labelling of spare parts
  • Identify remedial work following inspections or observations
  • Deliver planned maintenance to a high standard and within deadlines
  • Liaise with management regarding concerns or improvement opportunities
  • Support team development through coaching and knowledge sharing

What You Bring

  • Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or production
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance procedures
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Experience using digital maintenance systems (APP or similar)
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Level 3 qualification (or higher) in mechanical or electrical engineering
