An exciting opportunity has become available for a Test and Repair Technician to join our team. We are looking for a true team player with a collaborative approach. The Test and Repair Technician will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive test on all products, recording test results accurately, ensuring each product meets the quality standard and any specific test parameters that may be requested by the customer and/or project manager. You'll also fault-find failures to component level/root cause, record findings accurately, and ensure all testing is completed on time and to the production schedule. As such we are looking for someone who has a passion for problem-solving and strong attention to detail. The Test and Repair Technician will also be required to investigate customer found faults to root cause including report and repair assessment.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Following clearly defined testing procedures using various pieces of test equipment
  • Providing feedback to enable process improvements
  • Troubleshooting issues during test
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Accurately recording test results
  • Ensuring each product meets the quality standards specified.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Electronic and/or mechanical background
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Fault finding to component level
  • Computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Qualified to HNC or equivalent in electronics engineering is desirable (Or relevant experience)
